ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER
Assistant General Manager is the right hand to the General Manager and provides full support in running the restaurant, managing costs, and developing a team. They exemplify the Nando's culture and have proven their ability to successfully oversee our People and Operations through daily excellence. Assistant General Manager will be trained and show proficiency in all three Pillars of Excellence: People, Product, and Place. RESTAURANT MANAGER
Our Restaurant Managers are the guardians of the Nando's experience for our guests and our people. They are instrumental in breathing the life of our strong culture into their restaurant while growing the next generation of restaurant leaders. In this role, Restaurant Managers ensure the restaurant operates efficiently and profitably. As with all members of the Nando's family, there is an expectation to wear multiple hats, seek out opportunities to make us and themselves better every day and in general, be a good team player!

Requirements:Role Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent education (GED), preferred
- Must have 3-5 years General Manager experience
- Must demonstrate understanding of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures and can coach and teach their team
- Friendly and polite with a professional work ethic
- Flexibility to work different job functions, shifts, overtime
- Understanding of basic computer and internet navigation skills required
- Successfully complete manager training within allotted time
- Must pass a background and credit check
- Must be able to work at any restaurant within region from a food/ alcohol licensing and transportation perspective
Physical Requirements
- Able to independently lift up to 50lbs for an extended period of time
- Must be able to walk and/or stand for 8-10 hours per day
- Hand-eye coordination
- Reaching, bending twisting, stooping
- Pushing and Pulling
- Lifting overhead
- Must be able to climb stairs in restaurants that have multiple levels
