Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30AM-5:30PM, with occasional weekend help
Job Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Primary care for the 5-month-old: preparing bottles and baby food, diaper changes, nap time, monitoring developmental cues, and facilitating educational and developmental activities.
- Light household tasks: tidying up after children's activities, washing dishes from the day, assisting with children's laundry, providing meal preparation for whole family, and vacuuming/dusting/etc as needed
About the Child:
- 5-month-old: A happy, chill baby who cries when hungry. Loves to be interacted and engaged with. Loves going outside and walking around neighborhood. Developmentally ahead on milestone check-ins.
Ideal Candidate:
The family is looking for a nanny who is:
- Experienced and passionate about working with children, especially infants
- Safety-conscious, including being CPR/First Aid certified
- Loving, calm, and professional, with the ability to engage the children in hands-on activities.
- Comfortable working with parents who frequently come home during lunch breaks
- Willing and able to carry baby and supplies needed (such as stroller) down 3 flights of stairs
- Fluent in speaking Slavic or Indian languages
- Comfortable with Christianity and praying in the home
- Passionate about child development and willing to plan educational and developmental activities
Additional Information:
- Flu Shot Requirement: The nanny will be required to receive a flu shot each flu season.
