Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Nanny/Family Assistant to provide exceptional care for our toddled and infant in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with infants, toddlers, and older children, demonstrating a strong ability to engage and support their developmental needs. This role requires a proactive individual who can create a safe, clean, and stimulating atmosphere while ensuring the well-being of the children.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with children in various activities, including playtime, educational games, and outdoor activities.
- Provide attentive care for infants and toddlers, including diaper changes, feeding, and nap time routines.
- Prepare healthy meals and snacks while accommodating dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for the children, including tidying up play areas and cleaning up after meals.
- Assist with homework and educational tasks for older children as needed.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's daily activities, behavior, and any concerns that may arise.
- Ensure the safety of children at all times by following established safety protocols and being aware of surroundings.
- Administer first aid when necessary and maintain a first aid kit readily available.
Requirements
- Proven experience in nannying with references available upon request.
- Strong skills in toddler care and experience with infants is highly desirable.
- Ability to create engaging activities that promote learning and development for children of various ages.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with both children and parents.
- A clean driving record is preferred; ability to transport children if necessary is a plus.
- First aid certification is preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a positive attitude towards caregiving responsibilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 42 per week
