A professional family in Franklin, TN, is seeking an experienced and highly organized Governess/Nanny with a strong education or teaching background to support their 7-year-old son in a structured homeschooling environment. The ideal candidate will also be comfortable caring for their 2-year-old during travel.
Schedule Compensation:
- In Nashville: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- $35-$45 per hour (depending on experience)
- During Travel (10 weekends per year, Thursday-Sunday):
- $65-$75 per hour (8-hour days)
- Mostly domestic travel, with two possible international trips
- Must stay with the family during travel
- Educational Support:
- Follow a structured homeschool curriculum for a 7-year-old in second grade
- Submit progress reports and maintain organized educational records
- Support structured Monday, Wednesday, Friday homeschooling when in Nashville
- Travel Readiness:
- Accompany the family on 10 weekend trips per year
- Provide childcare for both the 7-year-old and 2-year-old when traveling
- Household Childcare Support:
- Assist with keeping educational materials, schedules, and reports up to date
- Provide after-school assistance and engagement for both children
- Be flexible and adaptable to the familys dynamic lifestyle
- Teaching or educational background required (formal or homeschool experience preferred)
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to keep track of educational progress and reports
- Kind, morally grounded, dependable, and adaptable
- Comfortable with traveling frequently and adjusting to a flexible schedule
- A nonsmoker with a professional, responsible demeanor
- Provide 3-5 professional references
