Newborn Care Specialist in Charleston, SC

Seeking a Newborn Care Specialist to provide care for a family expecting a baby in June. The position will begin immediately after the baby's birth and is expected to last for approximately 3 months. The role can be live-in or live-out, with the option to use a private guest bedroom and bathroom if living in.

Hours and Pay :

  • Shifts are 12 hours per day (8 AM to 8 PM or 9 AM to 9 PM).
  • The position is temporary, lasting approximately 3 months.
  • Compensation is $40 per hour

Responsibilities include :

  • Providing hands-on care for the newborn, including feeding, diapering, and establishing sleep routines.
  • Offering guidance to the family on newborn care best practices and techniques.
  • Ensuring the baby's needs are met in a calm, nurturing, and professional manner.
  • Maintaining the baby's feeding and sleep schedule and providing overnight care as needed.
