Our Orthopedic Clinic is the industry leader in outpatient knee and hip replacement surgery. Our goal is to get people back to doing what they love by curing their chronic knee pain. We offer patients a revolutionary alternative to traditional knee replacement. Patients can go home just hours after surgery and get back to doing what they love much quicker than they can after traditional knee replacement.
We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a surgery scheduler. This individual serves as the patient's point of contact with the surgeon, the hospital, and the pre-op staff. In a busy orthopedic clinic, this position is full-time. The ideal candidate possesses not only the necessary abilities but also the kindness and patience to help our patients with queries and worries both before and after surgery.
Skills required:
- Knowledge of orthopedics is helpful
- Educate patients on different surgical procedures and options
- Maintain accurate schedules with the surgery centers
- Must be highly organized and communicate well with patients, doctors, and hospitals
Responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate surgical appointments for orthopedic patients, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage patient records and maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide exceptional patient service by answering inquiries and addressing concerns.
- Utilize EHR systems to update and track patient information.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless communication and workflow in the surgical department.
- Assist with medical collections and verify insurance information as needed.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
