Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Industrial Cleaning Associate to join our team at NanoChem Solutions, Inc. This role is critical in maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant production environment within our nutraceutical manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial cleaning, a strong work ethic, and the ability to follow strict cleanliness and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Facility Cleaning and Maintenance:

• Clean and sanitize production equipment, floors, walls, and surfaces according to established cleaning protocols.
• Perform routine and deep cleaning of manufacturing areas, including cleanrooms, laboratories, and common areas.
• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other regulatory standards during cleaning activities.
• Operate and maintain industrial cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, pressure washers, and vacuums.
• Handle and store cleaning chemicals safely and according to company guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate cleaning logs and documentation as required by company policies and regulatory agencies.
• Report any equipment malfunctions, maintenance needs, or safety hazards to the Plant Manager promptly.

Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to ensure a safe working environment.
• Participate in safety training and implement safety measures during cleaning processes.
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately and ensure proper disposal of waste materials.

Collaboration and Support:

• Work closely with production and quality assurance teams to coordinate cleaning schedules and minimize disruption to operations.
• Assist with other maintenance or facilities-related tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in industrial cleaning, preferably in a nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, or food manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of GMP standards and cleaning best practices is highly desirable.
• Ability to operate and maintain industrial cleaning equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing facility environment with exposure to noise, dust, and cleaning chemicals.
• Requires adherence to strict hygiene and safety protocols, including the use of PPE.
• May require occasional work on weekends or after hours to complete cleaning tasks.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
