Job Description
Position Purpose: Transports raw material or finished product throughout the facility to ensure efficient production.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Safe operation of a forklift.
- Transport raw materials to production lines.
- Transport finished product to warehouse and ensure that product is ready for shipping by storing it in their designated location.
- Empty trash containers at regular intervals.
- Transport racks to production line, cleaning, and storage areas.
- Maintain good housekeeping throughout department and work areas.
- Help cover break periods for other Employees when necessary.
- Understand and operate Plex (ERP) operating system to track inventory and create shipping labels.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Work occasional overtime during the week and sometimes weekends.
Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Ability to communicate well with others.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs frequently.
- Ability to operate scanners and label printers.
- Safe operation of a forklift with at least 1-3 years of work experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.13 - $16.28 per hour
