Your Role Includes:
- Master the Swiss Lathe: Engage in comprehensive machine setups, select the right tools, load materials, and fine-tune initial programs.
- Document with Precision: Develop robust documentation for machining processes and keep meticulous records.
- Tool and Material Mastery: Identify and procure tools and materials necessary for success.
- Advanced Programming: Utilize your prowess in DP Tech Esprit and manual programming to excel.
- Operate and Troubleshoot: Command the Nomura CNC Swiss lathe, optimizing performance and solving challenges.
Maintain Excellence:
- Conduct Rigorous Inspections: Use precision tools to uphold top-tier quality standards.
- Collaborate with Pioneers: Work with production managers to ensure timely and precise project delivery.
- Maximize Efficiency: Partner with area managers to enhance machine utilization and reduce downtime.
- Innovate: Lead preventative maintenance initiatives and propose cost-saving production enhancements.
- Support Sales: Aid estimating teams in crafting accurate quotes, bringing your machining insight to the forefront.
- Organize and Thrive: Keep a pristine work environment to foster excellence.
Skills & Experience:
- Extensive experience in CNC Swiss setup and operation.
- Proficiency in CNC Programming (DP Technology ESPRIT preferred).
- Exposure to SolidWorks and other design software.
- A machining trade certificate (one year) or five years of Swiss turning experience.
- Expertise in tight tolerances and precision machining.
- Exceptional attention to detail paired with stellar communication abilities.
- Basic computer proficiency.
