We're looking for a smart, passionate Senior Accountant to join our team at Nanotronics! In this role, you'll be managing and analyzing our financial records to make sure everything stays in compliance with regulations. You'll take on key financial tasks like handling monthly closes, helping prepare financial statements, identifying areas where we can improve processes, and working on other key financial reports.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• You'll take the lead on the month-end close process, which includes creating and reviewing reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries.
• It'll be your job to ensure the accuracy of our accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
• You'll also help maintain our general ledgers as needed by the organization.
• Additionally, you'll assist in preparing our monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Analyzing financial performance and cash flow will be part of your role, and you'll generate reports for management.
• You'll have the opportunity to identify areas for process improvement and help develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
• You will coordinate and manage annual audit, where you'll provide the necessary documentation and explanations.
• You'll oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure that payments and collections happen accurately and on time.
• You'll work directly with the VP of Accounting on various financial projects, which will be a great chance to collaborate and learn.
• And of course, you'll handle other accounting duties as assigned.
