Our new 2,000-square-foot covered outdoor Pavilion has water views and is a perfect venue for meetings or social events.
Responsibilities and Duties
The Sales Manager will assist in achieving revenue goals, guest satisfaction, as well as the successful financial performance of the department. They will also assist with enforcing service strategies into all aspects of the sales process, ensuring strong partnerships with other managers.
Sales Manager Duties:
- Planning, up-selling and detailing each assigned event with the client including verification and modification of space requirements, times, equipment, menus, themes/decorations, etc. Preparing the appropriate resumes and paperwork to ensure quality service.
- Managing the function details and related activities to ensure that events are set up to meet client needs. Anticipating and handling customer complaints and/or problems to ensure a quality product is delivered, clients are satisfied and repeat business is achieved.
- Assisting in efforts to continuously improve hotel business through development of new sales tools, menus and themes. Also, analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of competitors as well as understanding the clients’ needs to ensure complete satisfaction.
- Monitoring and controlling budgets for each event as well as the various details to maximize revenues and minimize expenses while ensuring delivery of a quality product.
- Increase profits by focusing on room sales and generating business through aggressive sales efforts.
- Maintains sales volume and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
- Identifies current and future customer service requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements.
Sales Manager candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of hotel sales or related industry experience. Must be self-motivated, detail oriented and possess excellent communication and administrative skills.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
