Job Details
General job duties include PCU experience with various types of procedures required. Equipment utilized in the unit / dept includes Cerner System for charting and Omnicell automated medication cabinet.
PCU with a minimum of 2 years medical / surgical experience.
Nurse to patient ratio in PCU is 4 : 1; when floating the ratio may vary.
Dress Code : Navy Blue.
Unit / department specific training and orientation includes one day onboarding with Educator and two days on the unit with an RN.
Job Requirements
Active DE License required.
Minimum 2yrs PCU experience.
Compact RN license preferred.
Schedule Information
Rotating AP / PA. Sunday through Saturday; schedule may not be all together.
Employee will always be on the unit with others.
Option for On-call required.
May require floating to MedSurg units.
Additional Details
The candidate is required to have an active DE License.
BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA are required.
Candidates must specify if they need time off during the contract.
The candidate's home address must not be within 100 miles of the facility.
