Responsibilities:
- Cut, trim, and prepare various cuts of meat according to customer specifications
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the highest quality and safety standards
- Utilize knives and other cutting tools to portion, slice, and package meat products
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote efficiency and safety
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and customer demands
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation as needed
-Assist customers on meat counter
Skills:
- Experience in the food industry, particularly in meat cutting or culinary roles
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Proficiency in using knives and other cutting tools for meat preparation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to handle and process raw meat products safely and efficiently
- Familiarity with food production processes and techniques
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or similar food service environment is a plus
