Counter Sales Tracy NAPA

CENCAL Auto & Truck Parts is an Independent 14 Store NAPA Auto Parts Group. We're looking to add to our Counter Sales Team at our TRACY, CA Location.

We're looking for Self-Motived, not afraid to try new things, Customer Service orientated individual to Join our Team

Part-Time possibly Full-Time depending on skill level.

We're closed on Sundays, SATURDAY is a Mandatory working day, with a day off during the week.

Primary Job Functions

• Providing Excellent Customer Service, while doing Vehicle look ups, and Parts Sourcing for Retail, and Commercial customers, both in person, and over the phone.

Secondary Job Functions

• Some secondary yet essential functions of the position include the ability to effectively understand and communicate NAPA product information, performance standards, warranties, sales programs, and company policies; the ability to operate and utilize TAMS point-of-sale invoicing, cash register, electronic communications equipment, and telephone system; and the ability to secure parts for our customers and to handle daily paperwork and forms generated by customers and the store, including purchase orders, receipts, invoices, warranty returns, RGNs, OS&Ds, etc.
• The counter salesperson must be able to make hydraulic hose assemblies.
• This person must also be cooperative in keeping the store properly stocked and the sales area and stockroom clean, uncluttered, and properly maintained and must be willing to participate in training and to perform all other duties as requested by management.

Personal Requirements:

Able to establish and maintain good relations with customers by providing courteous, efficient, and professional service.

Be functionally literate and capable of understanding and recognizing part numbers and line codes to ensure proper selection and delivery of parts, including identifying sequences of numbers and letters accurately and rapidly.

Have a well-groomed, neat appearance, complying with NAPA policies on conduct and dress.

Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills in a professional manner.

Enjoy working with people in a fast-paced setting; be competitive yet have the ability to work calmly under pressure.

Possess a valid driver’s license with no DWI convictions within the past four years and not have over three moving violations or two at-fault accidents in the last three years.

Have a working knowledge of the part of the city the store services.

Able to work retail hours and at any store location as assigned by management

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
