Parts Counter Sales Associate

Responsibilities:
As a Counter Sales Associate, you'll be at the heart of our customer interactions, ensuring a positive and efficient experience. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Answering phones and providing friendly assistance to customers.
- Greeting customers with a smile and helping them find the right auto parts.
- Placing and filling orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Performing detailed, repetitive tasks daily with precision.
- Completing assigned tasks independently, demonstrating a proactive and can-do attitude.
- Maintaining a safe, positive, and harassment-free work environment.
- Exemplifying excellent communication skills with customers, co-workers, and management.
- Willingly taking on additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Basic math skills for transaction processing.
- A desire to be cross-trained in all areas of the operation.
- Flexibility for duty and position reassignments as needed by management.
Physical Requirements:
We believe in working hard but having fun doing it. Physical requirements for the position include:
- Positive and productive work demeanor.
- Recognition and distinction of letters and numbers both visually and orally.
- Ability to walk up and down stairs for stocking and pulling parts.
- Capability to speak, hear, and follow instructions.
- Use of hands for handling, feeling, reaching, grasping, holding, and lifting.
- Lifting up to 25lbs regularly, 50 lbs frequently, and occasionally up to 75 lbs without restrictions.
- Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift.
- Occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
- Bending or stooping to floor level shelves and stretching or reaching shelves (eight feet minimum) with the use of a stool or ladder.
Job Type: Full-Time
Starting: $15-20/hr depending on experience
