Raps Auto Parts a locally owned and operated group of Napa Auto Parts Store is seeking a full time EXPERIENCED Automotive Parts Counter Person for our East Providence, RI, location. Candidate must be self motivated, responsible, and willing to provide excellent customer service to both our wholesale and retail customers.

Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to all store customers
- Assist both retail and wholesale customers with their auto parts questions and needs, either in person, via the telephone, or through online ordering
- Handle cash, credit card, and other purchasing transactions
- Operate the store point of sale system (RPM) to search for parts and customer accounts, and to invoice and pull orders
- Pull and prepare inventory orders for customer pick up or delivery
- Operate the electronic and paper cataloging system to retrieve up to date parts information
- Effectively communicate features, benefits, and warranty policy information to customers.
- Demonstrate a positive, helpful attitude as well as professional conduct and appearance at all times.
- Required to participate in Company sponsored trainings.
Qualifications:
- 5 yrs Automotive Parts Counter experience
- Knowledge of automobiles, trucks and their systems
- Must be able to work retail hours
- Passion for delivering customer care and building long term relationships
- Enjoy working with people in a fast paced environment

Experience:
- Automotive Parts Counter: 3 years (Preferred)
- Automotive Parts Knowledge: 5 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- ASE Certification (Preferred)
