We are currently seeking an Outside Salesperson to join our NAPA team and help us grow by building relationships and driving sales with local businesses and customers in Orange and/or Rockland County, NY.

Primary responsibilities include:
- Representing our company in the field using your customer-focused sales skills
- Work with the Sales Manager to develop and grow a loyal customer base
- Building relationships with local auto repair shops, dealerships, and fleet companies
- Maintain and grow current customer relationships
- Provide solutions and products that meet customer’s specific needs
- Promote the full line of NAPA products and programs
- Always demonstrate a positive, helpful attitude as well as professional conduct and appearance.
Required skills include:
- Prior experience in outside sales or a similar role, ideally in the automotive parts or related industry.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Secondary education degree is a plus
- Bi-lingual is a plus
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Ability to juggle prospecting and cold calling while maintaining current customer business needs
- Great communication skills and professional appearance
- Self-motivated with a drive to succeed and meet sales goals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Soft computer & technology skills; email communications, internet navigation, basic spreadsheet skills, cellphone device navigation
