**This position will serve the Roaring Fork Valley area**
Stop being tied to a desk or counter - work around your community as an Auto Parts Outside Sales Representative. We are looking for an automotive parts expert to join our company. You will generate sales at quantities and profit margins necessary to achieve or exceed revenue and gross profit objectives, while promoting and ensuring superior customer service. You will work with assigned accounts as well as prospects for new accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Meet/exceed sales and gross profit goals of assigned customer base by using best-practice sales techniques for promoting and selling automotive parts, tools, and supplies,
- Build long-term customer relationships and increase market share by ensuring customer satisfaction and realizing opportunities for growth for new products and product lines,
- Continue to learn new products and product lines by attending and participating in sales meetings and training sessions,
- Requirements
- Must: have 3-5 years truck/aftermarket/auto parts industry customer service experience with a working knowledge of vehicle systems and components or an auto mechanic background,
- Must have prior sales experience.
- Be a proactive self-starter with a strong work ethic,
- Have strong listening/written/speaking skills,
- Be proficient in working with computers,
- Have a valid Driver License,
- Pass background checks.
- Clean driving record, no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years.
Job Conditions:
- Physical Demands: Requires standing, bending, stretching, and using a tablet and phone. Some heavy lifting.
- Environmental Demands: Mostly outdoor work.
