Paint Counter Sales

Northend Auto Parts, Inc. in Yuma is seeking a full time Paint Counter Sales person who believes in taking care of the customer. This is the ideal position for knowledgeable and energetic people who have a passion for customer care and the power of teamwork. As a NAPA Paint Specialist, you are an important part of the store team.

Responsibilities Include:

• Help customers with their auto body and finish questions
• Maintain paint counter and aisle on daily basis
• Offer color matching expertise and paint product selection advice
• Mix paint with precision
• Operate a cash register and navigating computer and paper catalog systems
• Process cash, checks and credit card transactions
• Follow store processes and procedures
• Aware of and able to respond to safety issues
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• A strong knowledge of all things automotive and a passion for delivering customer care
• High School diploma or GED
• ASE (P2) parts certification, a plus
• Paint or body shop experience, a plus
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Valid driver license and/or reliable transportation
• Prior experience in the retail industry, preferably an automotive paint department, dealership, jobber or retail establishment
• Able to work retail hours including weekends and holidays
• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Capable of lifting and moving items of up to 45 pounds
• Prolonged periods of standing and mixing paint
• Able to wear the PPE and necessary safety equipment
• Able to operate and maneuver paint machinery and tools
