Job Summary
The Manager of Sourcing & Business Insights provides operational support and guidance to the US Automotive business unit. Activities will include managing the bids and overall relationship of our TL and LTL carriers and advancement of supply chain reporting and analytics practices. This position acts as a subject matter expert for all modes of domestic transportation and aims to deliver value to Genuine Parts Company by increasing control, improving service, and reducing cost for domestic freight flow.

Responsibilities
- Implement solutions to increase transportation control, improve service levels, and reduce supply chain cost.
- Partner with IT to develop transportation business intelligence capabilities using Google Big Query and Microsoft Power BI.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to executive leadership.
- Manage and communicate project budgets, timelines, and deliverables to leadership and stakeholders.
- Direct experience with development of supply chain business intelligence capabilities
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of experience in Logistics or related field
- 2 years’ experience building and leading teams.
- Ability to interact and communicate with executive leadership.
- Proficient in SQL, analytical data modeling, and visualization tools
- Strong Communication and basic office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
- Leads a team of 1-3 direct reports.
- Typically reports to a Sr. Manager of Supply Chain
