What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cleaning Specialist position at NAPA Center?
Position Overview:
The Cleaning Specialist will assist with clinic organization and cleaning duties under the supervision of the General Manager and Director of Rehab. We are looking for a dedicated individual who will be a key part of our operations, ensuring a welcoming space by creating a clean, safe, and supportive space for children and their families. This is a part-time role with a work schedule of Monday through Friday, working four hours per day with flexibility on the specific hours.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in janitorial, custodial or general cleaning roles is preferred but not required
- A strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- A proactive and dependable work ethic
- Must possess an enthusiasm for working within a family-centered environment
- Minimum qualifications include high school diploma or GED
- Professional interpersonal conduct
- Organization skills and attention to detail
- Background clearance by the DOJ and FBI
- Ability to communicate confidently and effectively with clients, therapy team and other medical professionals.
- Display a level of professional empathy and the ability to develop rapport.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds independently and stand for extended periods of time
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of therapy rooms, restrooms, waiting areas and common spaces
- Restock and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment
- Assist in light maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs of managing trash / recycling
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards specific to a healthcare environment
- Support a friendly and collaborative work atmosphere by taking pride in your contributions
