The Position
This position is embedded in the Behavioral Health Division, providing Enhanced Care Management services to children and adults, who struggle with a severe mental illness, a substance use disorder or both. Primary duties are engagement with clients to help them meet self-identified goals, providing needed support to address clinical and nonclinical needs in order to improve the individual's quality of life, overall health and independence. The position requires meeting with clients in the community, where it is most convenient for them, including their home and places where the individual receives services. Bilingual Spanish-speaking candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
This recruitment is being conducted to fill one current full-time vacancy. The list established by this recruitment may also be used to fill future full-time, part-time, limited term, and extra help vacancies for up to one year.
Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Agreed Salary Increases and Winter Time Off (WTO) :
- 3.5% COLA increase effective 7 / 1 / 2025
- 3.5% COLA increase effective 7 / 1 / 2026
- 32.0 hours of Winter Time Off (WTO)
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Experience and Education : Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge, skills, and abilities would be :
Experience : None required. Personal experience and access / advocacy with community health services is highly desired.
Education :
High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
License or Certificate
Possession of a valid California Driver's License.
