Melville,NY - USA Position Requirements *The ideal candidate must have experience in the Workday Core Financial system and leading and managing an ERP system implementation* Key Responsibilities Workday Application Leadership: Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for the Workday platform, especially Finance and Accounting modules. Guide and support NAPA’s teams to maximize the platform’s capabilities. Product Ownership and Strategy: Act as a product owner by understanding the business value and strategic needs within Finance and Accounting. While partnering with other stakeholders, support the growth of the platform with direct product management responsibility. Project Management: Manage Workday-related projects, including system enhancements, new feature implementations, and potential new business acquisitions. Work closely with internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and meet NAPA’s operational needs. Functional Architecture – establishes and maintains the high-level functional architecture blueprint of all Financial-related data elements from source systems, financial systems, and usage in reporting. This includes attributed data models for Master Data, Workday FDM, Reference Data, Transaction Data, and Statistical Data. Documents core reporting dimensional data elements, and maintains relevant data dictionaries. Financial Data Quality – Establishes framework for measuring data quality. Regularly assesses the relevant quality of all financial data. Regularly tracks and reports data quality metrics Business Partnering: Act as an IT business partner to bridge technical solutions with business needs, collaborating effectively with Accounting, Finance, and other departments across NAPA. Process Optimization: Identify and implement best practices for Workday application usage and workflow improvements, ensuring scalability and efficiency as NAPA continues to grow. PEOPLE FUNCTIONS Oversees management of and ensures development for staff to meet overall objectives in terms of quality, service and cost effectiveness. Provides timely guidance and feedback to help others strengthen specific knowledge/skill areas needed to accomplish a task or solve a problem. Directs management responsibilities of selection, scheduling, supervision, retention, and evaluation of employees. Provides leadership and communication to maintain a competent and engaged employee group by conducting regular department meetings to review policies and procedures and operational matters, rounding on all employees, completing performance appraisals, conducting new hire feedback sessions, coaching/corrective counseling, and providing recognition/commendations to achieve desired outcomes. Identifies opportunities and takes action to build strategic relationships between one's area and other areas, teams, departments, and units to achieve business goals. Drives the promotion of teamwork within and between departments; participates and/or leads and facilitates department process improvements as needed. Fosters collaboration, strategic alignment, integrated planning and execution across different functions to support business solutions. Salary : $15,000 - $220,000
