Front of House Team Member

Napa Valley Bike Tours has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, hospitality oriented person to join our Shop Team this season! We pride ourselves on the fun and respectful working environment we have created for our team.
Our operations fluctuate greatly on a day-to-day basis, so you must be the type of person who is ready to "go with the flow" and jump in wherever needed to perform a variety of tasks.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Greeting tour & rental guests
• Assisting tour & rental guests with route planning, including suggesting winery visits
• Driving a tour van to run miscellaneous errands, pick-up wine purchases, etc.
• Pulling out bikes for guests and assisting them with sizing
• Occasional light bike mechanics
• Stocking front of house items (waters, clif bars/retail inventory)
• Keeping front and back of house clean and orderly
• Acting as a gatekeeper for admin office
• Occasional Hotel outreach

About You:

• Friendly, upbeat individual who either lives locally in the Napa or Sonoma Valley or is very familiar with the area
• Punctual and reliable
• Knowledgeable about wineries within biking distance of our location. We will teach you everything you need to know about the valley by bicycle
• Saturdays and/or Sundays and will be a requirement for the position this season. Keep in mind we are a small company & we're all about work life balance. As long as time off requests are made in advance we do our best to accommodate you!
• Demonstrate a passion for sharing the Napa Valley with visitors
• Are excited about the idea of creating great experiences for our guests
• Have basic computer skills and an aptitude to learn new software programs pretty quickly
• Ride a bike, at least occasionally - and find it rather fun!

Miscellaneous Requirements:

Must have a valid CA driver's license
Must be able to lift 35 lbs over your head
