A day in the life...
As a Line Cook, you are on the front lines with excellent fine dining customer service experience. You will prepare and cook for our guests on our various train experiences from legacy, lunch, and dinner train. Also, for our various other seasonal experiences and private events. Your friendly, energetic, and professional personality will be a part of ensuring our guests' stay is a memorable one.
Requirements
To be successful as a Line Cook, we're looking for team members who take pride in a job well done. Your culinary knowledge, thorough work ethic, swift service will be a part of providing an amazing experience for our guests. This role requires, positive energy, receptive to coaching, attention to detail, teamwork, and a passion for fine dining. Previous experience on the line in restaurant role is required. We are happy to train efficient, observant and personable people who are proud to deliver high quality service.
Requirements:
2 years of Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line cook, restaurant cook or prep cook.
Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
Familiar with industry’s best practices
Culinary school diploma a plus
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work in small space, fast paced environment, and on a moving train.
Ability to stand for long period of time.
Must be available for day or evening, holidays and weekend shifts.
Serve Safe (or ability to obtain certification).
Speak & Read English - Minimum.
