Familia Zuccardi is a passionate and innovative wine-making family, and considered one of the top producers in Mendoza, Argentina, and highly regarded globally. Currently at the helm is the 2nd and 3rd generation, working together and farming vineyards in different sub regions of Mendoza, while also operating 2 wineries :
1- Bodega Santa Julia, where we focus on Organics, Sustainability, and Community.
2- Zuccardi Valle de Uco, where we commit to on site-focus, terroir-driven wines from the Uco Valley of Mendoza.
Expectations and Summary of Role :
This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of passionate wine and sales people, representing the Zuccardi Family throughout the Western half of the USA, as the US Western Sales Director & Brand Ambassador. The successful candidate will work closely with the Zuccardi Team, their US Importer Team (Winesellers, Ltd), and their network of distributors in each state to promote the brands, provide education to the trade, and drive sales. This position will combine extensive experience executing and managing sales with a demonstrated ability to work as an integral part of a team. In addition, the ideal applicant possesses a value set that reflects the Zuccardi Family’s commitment to excellence in all things that we do, and desire to better integrate those values into sales and marketing with our Importer and Wholesaler partners. This is a dynamic position that requires frequent travel, networking, and strong relationship building.
Job Duties and Responsibilities :
Key Responsibilities :
- Achieve annual sales goals.
- Work closely with the winery family, winery sales and marketing team, and US Import team to passionately promote the unique attributes of the winery into brand visibility and sales.
- Maintain strong relationships with distributor partners.
- Create innovative programs and ideas to enhance the performance of key markets.
- Identify and secure new independent, regional, and national accounts relationships and placements.
- Follow up on leads collected through events, direct contacts, and other team members.
- Develop annual business plans, quarterly business plans, and regular sales reports.
- Help develop and attend both wholesale and consumer wine tasting events.
- Analyze sales regularly to seek new opportunities or develop solutions.
