What are the responsibilities and job description for the Guest Services Attendant position at Naperville Park District?
The Guest Services Attendant is responsible for all frontline customer service. This includes money handling, pass and merchandise sales, registration, handling customer complaints and inquiries, and general grounds clean-up and facility cleanliness.
Responsibilities :
Provide an exceptional customer service experience by assisting customers on the phone and in person with all Centennial Beach processes and questions. Respond to phone calls and customer complaints or inquiries in a timely fashion.
Assist customers with and complete all necessary phases of membership sales and point of sale transactions.
Assist patrons entering the park. Check identification, scan cards, check coolers & bags, and provide information and directions.
Successfully operate membership and POS computer software to assist customers.
Ensure public safety by monitoring Centennial Beach and the surrounding Riverwalk areas within the direct vicinity of Centennial Beach.
Ensures confidential use of customer information, including credit card transactions and household accounts.
Successfully balance receipts, reconcile transactions, and prepare daily bank deposits.
Maintain a safe, clean, and friendly environment for guests, co-workers, and the public. Perform daily ground clean-up of garbage and debris, including litter picking, emptying garbage cans, and taking garbage to dumpsters. Maintain clean bathhouse showers and restroom areas by such tasks as sweeping, garbage removal, and restocking restroom supplies.
Exercise prompt and professional judgment in administering rule enforcement for those who violate Beach safety rules. Consult with the Centennial Beach Assistant Manager in cases of disciplinary actions for patrons.
Assist with the deepwater testing and document the names of patrons that pass the test.
Monitor inventory of supplies and equipment. Report inventory in need of replacement to Centennial Beach Assistant Manager.
Qualifications :
Must be at least 15 years old.
Ability to lift, carry, and / or move objects weighing ≤ 30 lbs on a daily basis. Lifting assistance is required when lifting >
