What are the responsibilities and job description for the Public Area Attendant position at Naples Bay Resort?
POSITION PURPOSE
To clean and maintain all public areas and restrooms in impeccable condition to achieve Sojourn Hospitality’s standards of quality.
Essential Functions
Thoroughly clean sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, tiles, counters, walls, stalls, vents, and/or floors with cleaning agents by extending arms overhead to reach all above areas. Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.
Use various cleaning techniques and heavy shampooing equipment to clean soiled carpets and upholstery. Requires continuous lifting, bending, scrubbing and stooping.
Thoroughly clean and polish all metal surfaces, applying pressure in repeated motion.
Thoroughly dust all furniture, pictures, and shelves, extending arms overhead, bending, and stooping as needed.
Clean ashtrays and empty trash.
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.
Applicant must be able to work weekends and holiday. A regular schedule for this position is: 7am to 3:30pm.
