As a High School Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities. You will work closely with general education teachers, related service providers, and other support staff to ensure that all students receive a comprehensive and supportive education.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement IEPs for students with disabilities.
2. Create and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
3. Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to ensure seamless transitions between classes.
4. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed about their child's progress.
Requirements:
1. Students with Disabilities, 7-12 Certification Required;
2. Additional Social Studies certification preferred;
