Naples Flowers, the premier florist in Naples, is looking for a results-driven Retail Sales & Customer Service Associate to be responsible for all sales job duties in our flower shop.
As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment and providing excellent service. This role involves assisting customers with selecting floral arrangements, taking orders, answering questions, and coordinating with the design and delivery teams to ensure a seamless experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Assistance: Greet customers warmly, listen to their needs, and assist them in selecting appropriate flowers, plants, or arrangements for various occasions.
- Order Management: Take customer orders in person, over the phone, or online, ensuring accurate details and preferences are recorded for each order.
- Product Knowledge: Provide information about flower types, arrangement options, pricing, and care instructions to help customers make informed choices.
- Problem Resolution: Address customer inquiries, complaints, or special requests promptly, finding solutions to ensure a positive experience.
- Sales and Upselling: Recommend complementary products, such as vases, cards, and gift items, to enhance the customer’s purchase.
- Coordination with Teams: Work closely with floral designers and delivery drivers to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the front desk, sales floor, and product displays clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Payments and Records: Process payments, manage customer records, and ensure orders are accurately documented for tracking and follow-up.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, or a floral shop is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a positive, professional attitude.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work efficiently under pressure.
- Basic knowledge of flowers, plants, and floral design is an asset.
- Comfortable with point-of-sale systems and basic computer skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
