Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced, full-time Medical Assistant to join our boutique concierge medical practice, supporting a single physician. The ideal candidate will have a strong work history with minimal career changes and must be reliable, detail-oriented, and patient-focused.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide top-notch patient care for approximately 200 concierge patients.
• Answer phones professionally and manage patient communication with a warm and helpful demeanor.
• Schedule appointments, follow-ups, and coordinate with specialists as needed.
• Organize, maintain, and update accurate medical records and digital patient charts.
• Perform phlebotomy and handle specimen collection and processing with precision.
• Assist in patient exams and procedures, ensuring the physician has all required materials and support.
• Utilize computer systems for EMR (Electronic Medical Records), appointment scheduling, and other administrative tasks.
• Manage incoming and outgoing referrals, tracking and following up on patient results.
• Monitor and maintain medical supplies inventory, ordering as needed.
• Support insurance-related administrative tasks, such as obtaining pre-authorizations or verifying patient benefits.
• Handle multitasking responsibilities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Qualifications:

• Reliability: Must be dependable and committed to delivering excellent patient care.
• Computer Skills: Tech-savvy with proficiency in EMR systems, Microsoft Office, and other digital tools.
• Phlebotomy Experience: Strong ability to draw blood and handle lab-related tasks.
• Organizational Skills: Highly detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate records.
• Communication Skills: Professional, friendly, and clear communication with patients, potential patients, and physician.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a medical assistant role, preferably in a concierge or similar private practice setting.
• Certifications: Medical Assistant Certification preferred, but not required.
• Personality: A team player who is adaptable, empathetic, and has a positive attitude.
