Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled CMM Programmer with 3 to 5 years of experience using Zeiss Calypso software to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metrology and be responsible for programming (on-line and off-line), operating, and maintaining Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) to ensure high-quality inspection and measurement of precision components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement CMM programs using Zeiss Calypso software to perform dimensional inspections.
- Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspections to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards.
- Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and 3D CAD models to create accurate measurement routines.
- Troubleshoot and optimize CMM programs for improved efficiency and accuracy.
- Perform routine calibration and maintenance of CMM equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve measurement-related issues.
- Document and report inspection results, identifying and addressing any discrepancies.
- Maintain compliance with ISO, AS9100, or other quality standards as required.
Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of experience programming and operating Zeiss CMM using Calypso software.
- Strong understanding of metrology principles, GD&T, and precision measurement techniques.
- Experience with CAD software and ability to work with 3D models.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes in industries such as aerospace, automotive, or precision machining is a plus.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex measurement challenges.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other CMM software and manual inspection tools.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar quality management systems.
- Associate's degree or certification in a relevant field is a plus.
Work Environment:

- Requires standing, sitting, and working with delicate measuring instruments.
- Occasional lifting of components or equipment may be necessary.
