What are the responsibilities and job description for the EXPRESS TECHNICIAN position at NAPOLI KIA?
Seeking experienced Automotive Technicians who will work with the Service Advisors to understand the vehicles’ problems, conduct necessary test-drives, check components and systems using diagnostic tools and equipment as well as diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including but not limited to; engines, transmissions, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, exhaust system, air conditioning, and other automotive systems and parts in a timely manner. Additionally, technicians should be able to document recommendations and repairs in a clear, concise manner and communicate them to the Service Advisors.
Technicians are expected to complete repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications as required, perform inspections of the vehicle’s repairs before returning the vehicle to the customer and inform the Service Advisor of any additional service is needed. Technicians must be able to maintain proper safety in the shop by maintaining a clean work area.
Requirements:
2 years of Automotive Technician and Diagnostics experience strongly preferred, ASC Certification is a plus. The employee is regularly required to use hands to handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to stand and talk or hear. Occasionally required to walk; sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and smell.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Hold a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Pass a pre-employment drug screening and a criminal background screening. Regular attendance Physical Demands:
Ability to continuously stand or walk frequently Ability to bend, squat, climb stairs and lift frequently Must frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 100 pounds.
