Nappi's Delivery Helpers assist with the delivery of our great beer and wine products to customers on established routes including convenience, specialty, and grocery stores, as well as taverns and restaurants. This position is responsible for representing Nappi Distributors in a professional, service-oriented manner. You also have the opportunity to train here at Nappi Distributors to gain a CDL-B license!
Responsibilities
· Safely assist with delivery of products (case and keg barrels) to assigned customer locations by off-loading product using a hand wheeler
· Responsible for rotation of product code dates at select locations
· Assist with generating and verifying invoice accuracy using hand-held computer device.
· Establish positive working relationships with primary contact(s) at each account
· Proactively communicate any customer concerns, issues and feedback.
· Adherence to established customer guidelines/requirements
· Follow all safety guidelines and exercise solid judgement to work safely
· Ensures all work areas/vehicles are kept clean and organized
· Represent Nappi Distributors by conducting all activity and interaction with customers and the general public in a professional, positive, service-oriented manner.
Experience/Skills
· Experience with pallet jacks and hand trucks is helpful
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills; excellent customer service aptitude
· Familiarity with I-Phones or similar technology devices is helpful.
· Flexibility to adjust and extend work schedule when requested to meet customer needs
· Professional appearance and approach
· Ability to do frequent lifting of up to 65 lbs. from ground to above head levels and occasional lifting of up to 153 lbs. from ground to shoulder level is required. Pushing/pulling of up to 185 lbs., without mechanical assistance, is required.
