Seeking a Medical Office Specialist for our Chiropractic Office who provides clerical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care. In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide administrative support to patients, fellow employees third party billing partner, and referral sources, through the coordination and administration of office activities. The ideal candidate must have a combination of knowledge and experience in a healthcare setting, strong computer proficiency, and customer service.
What you will do in this role:
Assist in office functions including patient relations, check-in/check-out, scheduling, answering phones, collecting and recording co-pays (cash and/or charge), and end of day activities including balancing the day in the computer.
Obtaining insurance benefits and eligibility along with authorization, when needed.
Creation of new patient charts and maintenance of patient records
Scanning and filing patient documents and ensuring complete and accurate information.
Liaison with third party billing company on insurance claims, payments and rejections to be corrected.
Maintain office inventory and equipment by anticipating supply needs and expediting supply orders.
Prepare patients and sanitize therapy rooms for Chiropractic care.
Apply Electric Muscle Stimulation therapy (EMS), hot and cold packs to patients

At least 2 years of computer and office equipment experience including MS Office products
Experience with EMR/electronic health/medical record systems (preferably ChiroTouch) is a PLUS.
Work Schedule: 11:30 AM to 6:30 PM Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.
