Position Summary / Objective

We are currently seeking qualified applicants to join our family team of over 40 years. The mission of the Prefabrication Supervisor is to oversee the daily operation of the prefabrication shop’s product, staff and property. This position is for permanent and full-time employment to work within the state of Massachusetts.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for scheduling, production and completion of all prefabrication orders.
• Train and manage a staff of qualified personnel to meet the execution objectives of prefabrication orders.
• Responsible for ensuring that quality tools are assigned to the prefabrication team.
• Assist and collaborate with the CAD department during the pre-construction and planning phases of a project.
• Assist and collaborate with all department teams to maximize the best use of prefab on each project.
• Maintains a close interface with field Foreman and PMs regarding prefabrication order objectives.
• Upholds all safety procedures required for the execution of work.
• Responsible for ensuring a level of productivity and quality of work is performed and within project schedule and hours.
• Responsible for packaging and shipping of all prefabrication orders per order instructions.
• Maintain a positive working relationship with internal and external project teams.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Workplace Environment

Environmental & Working Conditions : This position works primarily in a shared warehouse space with machinery and equipment. Utilization of computer, internet access, printer, and other related office equipment. The Prefabrication Supervisor will work with staff and management both within the warehouse and via computer and telephone.

Manual Duties / Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., sit and stand for extended periods of time, climb stairs, bend, reach overhead, kneel and balance to meet the physical requirements of this position.

Work is often done in a time-sensitive and demanding environment. There are often important deadlines and the requirement to coordinate work on multiple complex assignments at the same time.
