The Mosquito and Tick Control Technician is dedicated to safeguarding residences and commercial spaces from the health risks and discomfort caused by mosquitoes and ticks. Below are the essential job duties and responsibilities tailored for this role :

Conducting detailed inspections of outdoor areas and potential breeding sites to identify mosquito and tick infestations.

Advising clients on integrated pest management strategies, including both chemical and eco-friendly options to mitigate mosquito and tick populations.

Providing estimates for targeted treatments and ongoing prevention plans to reduce the risk of mosquito and tick-borne diseases.

Implementing larvicidal treatments in water bodies to control mosquito larvae and applying targeted treatments to tick habitats.

Applying barrier treatments around properties to prevent mosquitoes and ticks from entering outdoor living spaces.

Safe and efficient application of adulticide to control adult mosquito populations in infested areas.

Recommending landscaping changes and personal protective measures to clients for long-term mosquito and tick management.

Job requirements

Previous experience in pest control preferred - but not required

Someone that has a good work ethic, works well with others and is responsible

Must be willing to learn, and have the desire to work hard.

Valid Driver's License and clean driving record

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
