Narrative (www.narrativeads.com) is a fast-growing digital video advertising agency with a wide range of e-commerce clients. After starting out in 2019, we are working with some of the biggest consumer brands. As we grow rapidly, we are looking for more talented people to join our team.
What we do:
We produce and rigorously test hundreds of video ads for our clients to support their marketing efforts on social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Youtube, and more. Many of the biggest direct-to-consumer rely on our team to drive their business growth.
Who are we looking for:
We are seeking a creative individual who feels comfortable at the forefront of crafting comedic content that doesn’t just entertain but promotes brands in a way that feels natural, relatable, and funny. You’ll work on everything from Instagram Reels and TikToks to static posts, blending humor and creativity with strategic messaging for brands.
What You’ll Do:
- Write and develop clever, on-brand scripts and concepts for TikTok videos, Instagram Reels, and static posts.
- Collaborate with creative producers and clients to brainstorm and pitch comedic content ideas that align with campaign goals.
- Perform on camera for various social media concepts when needed, bringing your humor to life in engaging ways.
- Stay updated on social media trends, memes, and platform-specific humor to keep content fresh and relevant.
- Balance creativity with strategy, ensuring content delivers on brand messaging while keeping audiences entertained.
- Adapt writing style and humor to fit various brand voices and audiences.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience creating humorous content, ideally for social media.
- A portfolio showcasing your comedic script writing.
- Comfort and confidence in front of the camera.
- Understanding of platform-specific humor and trends (TikTok, Instagram, etc.).
- Ability to adapt humor to different brand and campaign goals.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Compensation: $25-30 per hour
Location: Must be comfortable commuting to our Pasadena office.
