Summary

As the Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist (Division Chief) within the Center Operations Directorate at SSC, you will hold a pivotal leadership role overseeing all aspects of the logistics division. This includes developing and implementing policies, refining procedures, managing operations, and aligning resources. You will lead a team of skilled and motivated logisticians, driving their efforts to ensure seamless and efficient logistics support for the center's critical missions.

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. To qualify at the GS-15 level, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level: Overseeing or managing a logistics function for an organization in areas such as: transportation, vehicle, acquisition, disposal, warehouse operations, or inventory management; Implementing or communicating the strategic vision and organizational progress of a logistics operation; Leading or managing contractor personnel and ensuring compliance to project requirements and regulations.
