Position Overview :
The Actuary 2 - Life / Health / Annuities will be responsible for developing actuarial assumptions and models using various tools, including actuarial modeling software, programming languages, data visualization applications, and Microsoft Office. This role involves pricing and designing life, health, and annuity products while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Candidates will be expected to work towards their actuarial designation from the Society of Actuaries.
Compensation :
Our client offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $90,000 to $120,000, commensurate with your experience, education, certifications, and skill set. This reflects a strong commitment to attracting top-tier talent for this pivotal role.
Key Responsibilities :
- Build actuarial assumptions and models using advanced tools and software.
- Communicate results to direct management through presentations, reports, and written documentation.
- Document work according to actuarial standards of practice.
- Maintain proficiency in actuarial pricing models and ensure timely completion of work.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including illustration requirements and annual testing.
- Support projects related to policy forms, industry competitive data, and surveys.
- Consult and influence management on courses of action impacting pricing, modeling, profitability, underwriting, administration, and risk management.
