Key Responsibilities:
Policy Management:
- Review, revise, and maintain all compliance policies, handbooks, job aids, and the Code of Conduct
- Lead policy projects, including annual reviews, ad hoc changes, and operationalization of policies
- Ensure policies align with applicable regulations, maintain consistency, and communicate policy changes effectively
- Identify areas for improvement and propose policy enhancements
- Analyze compliance data to identify trends and make necessary policy adjustments
- Partner with the compliance education team to ensure policies are accurately communicated and incorporated into training programs
- Serve as the system administrator for PolicyHub, including training other leads and liaising with the vendor as needed
- Oversee monitoring activities for specific compliance policies as required
- Conduct quality assurance reviews on responses provided via the compliance question line
- Provide compliance guidance to committees and support teams as needed
- Lead compliance projects, including developing project plans and managing execution
- Assist with ongoing compliance monitoring activities
- Cross-train within the team to support compliance question line and committee responsibilities
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s Degree (Required); Master’s Degree or JD preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance and/or healthcare-related roles, preferably in a similar capacity
- Expertise in drafting, reviewing, and providing guidance on policies
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail
- Experience with PolicyHub by Mitratech is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Adobe; intermediate proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and Smartsheet
- Strong time management, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team
- Hybrid schedule with in-office requirements on Tuesdays and Wednesdays
