Position Overview:

Our client has been an industry-leading recycling solutions supplier for over 43 years. Our client is seeking aField Service Technicianto join their team and maximize earning potential through strong technical and mechanical skills.

This role focuses on hydraulics, welding, and wiring, with specific training provided. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver’s license and no recent careless/reckless driving records.

Compensation:

Our client offers a competitive compensation package ranging from$50,000 to $70,000,commensurate with your experience, education, certifications, and skill set. This reflects a strong commitment to attracting top-tier talent for this pivotal role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proven field service experience
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Proficiency in Arc and MIG welding
• Familiarity with mobile tools and applications
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, and hydraulics
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret electrical/welding symbols
• CDL preferred but not required; good driving record is essential
• Willingness to travel overnight as required
• Maintain 5-S/housekeeping standards
• Follow all safety guidelines in the employee handbook and any updated training
• Maintain PPE and toolkits to standard for on-site and field assignments
• Adhere to vendor and customer safety compliance standards
  
  

Qualifications:

• Experience:
• Minimum of 3-5 years of proven field service experience, preferably in mechanical or technical maintenance roles
• Hands-on experience with hydraulics, welding (Arc and MIG), electrical systems, and troubleshooting equipment
• Experience working with mobile tools and applications is a plus
• Familiarity with PLC systems is a strong advantage
• Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Technical certification in a relevant field (e.g., Industrial Maintenance, Welding, Electrical) is preferred
• Additional training or certification in hydraulics or electrical systems is highly beneficial
• Skills:
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical diagrams, and welding symbols
• Proficiency in welding techniques and a basic understanding of electrical systems
• Excellent communication skills for customer interaction and reporting
  
  

• Licenses & Certifications:
• A valid driver’s license is required, with no recent careless/reckless driving offenses
• CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) is preferred but not mandatory
• Other:
• Must be willing to travel overnight as required for field assignments
