Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Supervision:
- Supervise and support radiology staff, ensuring efficient shift operations and task delegation
- Coordinate departmental staffing and maintain workflow organization
- Act as a liaison between staff and the Radiology Director, communicating departmental needs and updates
- Clinical Duties:
- Perform a range of imaging tests, including General Radiography, Fluoroscopy, DXA, Mammography, CT, OR Imaging, and PACS as needed
- Oversee quality control daily, ensuring high standards in all procedures and equipment use
- Administrative Tasks:
- Manage inventory and departmental supplies, making necessary orders to ensure resources are available
- Collaborate with the Radiology Director on shift activities and daily operations
- Education & Certification:
- Certificate and/or Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology
- ARRT(R) certification (additional certification in CT or Mammography required)
- Eligibility for Vermont radiologic technologist licensure
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in radiology
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience
- Supervisory experience in a union setting
- ARRT certification in both CT and Mammography, as well as radiography
- Familiarity with Epic EMR and Visage PACS systems
