The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in plastics injection molding and will ensure process quality, accurate documentation, and compliance with safety procedures.
Compensation:
Our client offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $60,000 – $75,000 per year, with up to $5,000 sign-on bonus and up to $5,000 relocation bonus, commensurate with your experience, education, certifications, and skill set. Key Responsibilities:
- Safety & Compliance
- Promote a safe work environment by adhering to Division safety rules and participating in safety audits.
- Mold Installation & Setup
- Conduct new mold inspection, installation, and setup, ensuring alignment with safety and quality standards.
- Troubleshooting & Process Optimization
- Utilize technical aptitude to troubleshoot tooling, processes, and machinery; support efficiency improvements in collaboration with engineering teams.
- New Process Development
- Work with Engineering on new process development and plant productivity initiatives.
- Quality & Documentation
- Interpret and adhere to quality system data, ensuring thorough documentation and effective communication of data.
- Collaboration & Support
- Collaborate with Shift Process Technicians to optimize existing processes and contribute to the continuous improvement of the facility.
- Overtime
- Be open to working overtime when required.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of five years in a hands-on plastics injection molding role.
- Education: Two-year technical degree preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Working knowledge of IQMS and basic PC literacy.
- Testing: Must pass Work Keys Mathematics and Technical Aptitude assessments.
