Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance, such as lubrication, part adjustments, and scheduled servicing.
- Inspect equipment to identify excessive wear, defects, or damage, and carry out necessary repairs to maintain optimal functionality.
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities, materials, and parts used.
- Follow safety guidelines and GMP standards consistently in all tasks.
- Read and follow technical manuals and blueprints for operating and setting up new machinery.
- Monitor and report inventory needs to management.
- Attend off-site and on-site training sessions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Maintenance experience in one of the following: 1 year of experience in industrial manufacturing, OR 2 years in aircraft, agriculture, or military maintenance, OR 3 years in automotive maintenance.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stretch throughout shifts, and lift up to 70 pounds.
- Comfortable working in varying temperature environments (from -10°F to 105°F) with potential slippery surfaces.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills to complete training and tasks.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals and communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Additional Information:
- Compensation: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour; up to $30.00 with ammonia certification.
- Retention Bonus: $2,500 at 90 days and an additional $2,500 at one year.
- Shift Schedule: Fixed shifts with overtime and weekend work as required.
