Key Responsibilities:
- Provide maintenance support with moderate supervision to ensure the safe and effective operation of equipment and team.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plant equipment.
- Conduct emergency mechanical or electrical repairs as needed.
- Troubleshoot issues related to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
- Safely apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned production equipment.
- Effectively interact with all plant personnel to accomplish plant and individual goals.
- Minimize downtime due to equipment failure.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of industrial maintenance experience OR 1 year of industrial maintenance experience education (e.g., possess industrial maintenance diploma or currently enrolled in technical school) in lieu of experience.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer skills necessary for logging information, processing daily work orders, and completing required documentation. Ability to learn and utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Communication Skills: Effective communication and basic math skills required.
Working Conditions:
- Ability to occasionally lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs; frequently lift 20 lbs.
- Capable of standing on hard surfaces for up to 12 hours a day.
- Comfortable working in confined and elevated spaces, walking, climbing, using ladders, operating lifts, bending, and stooping.
- Proficient in repetitive gripping, pushing, and pulling motions.
- Frequent engagement in overhead tasks.
- Adaptable to varying temperatures inside the plant, ranging from -25°F to over 100°F; outdoor work may also be required.
