Key Responsibilities:
- Accounting Operations:
- Oversee technical accounting areas such as consolidations, investments, stock-based compensation, equity, impairment assessments, debt, and more.
- Perform regulatory and accounting research to ensure compliance with SEC and NYSE standards.
- SEC Reporting:
- Participate in preparing quarterly (10-Q) and annual (10-K) filings.
- Ensure proper disclosure of material information in SEC reports.
- Leadership:
- Mentor and develop team members.
- Lead offshore team collaboration.
- Audits and Compliance:
- Partner with external auditors on technical issues.
- Ensure adherence to SOX 404 standards and perform reconciliation oversight.
- Miscellaneous:
- Support statutory audits and ancillary financial processes.
- Uphold company values in all interactions.
Qualifications:
- Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- CPA certification or actively working toward CPA.
- Experience:
- At least 4 years in public accounting or 5-6 years in a public company with relevant experience.
- Strong U.S. GAAP expertise.
- Technical accounting background.
- Location:
- Must be based near Federal Way, WA, or have relocation plans.
Desired Skills:
- Experience leading offshore teams.
- Proficiency with Oracle, Hyperion, Essbase, or Workiva.
