Key Responsibilities:
- Primary design and responsible charge of mechanical designs for various facilities, including commercial, healthcare, educational, and government projects.
- Oversee production of project designs, drawings, specifications, calculations, equipment selection, and application.
- Conduct peer review and QA/QC of work performed by staff engineers.
- Perform limited 3D Revit and/or 2D CAD work.
- Provide onsite observations and contract administration for design projects.
- Attend design meetings and/or OAC (Owner-Architect-Contractor) meetings as needed.
- Participate in fee proposal development and manage project team workloads.
Qualifications:
- Education: B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
- Licenses: Current Professional Engineer (PE) registration is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering.
- Resourceful in solving problems and applying knowledge and skills to new situations.
- Ability to adapt activities to meet the demands of new situations and tasks.
- Effective, positive, and proactive communication with clients.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent people skills and a positive attitude are essential.
