As a Personal Lines Product Analyst at Client, you will play a critical role in driving data-driven decisions and enhancing product insights for our Personal Lines Market Management team. Reporting to the Personal Lines Product Analytics Supervisor, you will leverage advanced analytics and competitive tools to support local markets, optimize product performance, and identify new opportunities to improve our business.
This position is based out of our corporate offices in Bloomington, IL, and follows a hybrid work schedule.
Compensation:
Our client offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $65,000 to $85,000, commensurate with your experience, education, certifications, and skill set. This reflects a strong commitment to attracting top-tier talent for this pivotal role. Eligible for a 5.5% bonus (not guaranteed, typically awarded in March)

Key Responsibilities:
- Product Insights & Analytics:
- Drive the development of new products and manage enhancements to existing products.
- Analyze premium rates, loss experience, and retention to ensure profitability and growth.
- Monitor changes in business mix for assigned states and identify underlying causes.
- Market Strategy Development:
- Collaborate with marketing to craft profit and growth strategies for assigned states.
- Conduct competitive research on market positioning, rates, and service levels.
- Implementation & Coordination:
- Work with IT to implement rate revisions, new products, and other initiatives.
- Build relationships with internal departments, including Accounting, Actuarial, Claims, and Customer Service.
- Data & Forecasting:
- Use tools such as SQL, Power BI, or Python to analyze data and create forecasting models.
- Advance automation and reporting processes, incorporating machine learning to identify trends.
Qualifications:
- A strong curiosity and passion for learning new concepts and tools.
- Proficiency with data tools such as SQL, Power BI, or Python.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of personal lines insurance or life insurance products.
- Experience with modeling, forecasting, or advanced analytics.
