Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality ultrasound scans on patients using specialized equipment
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns or questions
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures and patient information
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient care
- Monitor and maintain equipment, reporting any malfunctions or issues to the appropriate personnel
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of patients and staff
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques
- Provide exceptional patient care and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times
- Certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Tech
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Experience with a variety of ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, pelvic, and vascular
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends or evenings as needed
- Current BLS certification
